Every viral skincare product leans on a handful of ingredients that earned their place. Here's what each one does and who it's for, in plain English.
Niacinamide
The everything ingredient: helps skin look more even, refined and balanced. Plays well with everyone. In our Glass Skin Serum.
Peptides
Little chains of amino acids your skin treats as a to-do list — skin looks smoother, bouncier, more rested with continued use. In Firm Talk Serum and even our foundation, because base should be skincare too.
Hyaluronic acid
A moisture magnet that holds many times its weight in water. Apply to damp skin, seal with a cream, watch skin look instantly plumper. In Big Drink Serum.
Collagen
In a cream, collagen is a surface hydrator and plumper — skin looks cushioned and rested by morning. It's the hero of our Overnight Collagen Mask.
Glycolic acid
The exfoliating workhorse (an AHA): dissolves the dull surface layer so everything underneath can glow. Evenings only, SPF in the morning. In Glow Reset Toner.
Kojic acid
The brightener your FYP discovered this year — helps skin look more even, and it works from the neck down too. In our face-and-body Bright Body Polish.
Rule of thumb: introduce one new active at a time, patch test, and read the INCI list — ours are printed in full on every product page. Questions? DM @oliviamelody — a real human actually answers.
